Built on 25 Years of Property Expertise & A Genuine Duty of Care
Why The Home Insulation Company does things differently.
The Foundation
The Story Behind The Standard...
"Hello, I'm Benjamin Perry, the founder of The Home Insulation Company®.
For over 25 years, I have been deeply immersed in the property and construction sectors. From operating the building firm Homes by Benjamin Perry to managing properties as a landlord, I’ve seen firsthand how poorly insulated, damp, and neglected homes can impact the families living in them.
I realised that the insulation industry was largely dominated by volume-driven government schemes or companies prioritising speed over quality. I wanted to build a company that did the exact opposite—a service defined by precision, respect for your home, and guaranteed thermal performance."
The Difference
From Operating Theatres to Property Transformation
"My approach to this industry is unique because it isn't just built on construction experience. Before focusing entirely on property, I spent years working on the frontline in hospital operating theatres and community healthcare.
It was there that the severe, real-world effects of poor housing became undeniably clear. I witnessed the chronic respiratory conditions caused by cold, damp environments, and I frequently saw the devastating physical injuries resulting from domestic trips, slips, and falls.
That firsthand experience provided a deeply rooted ethical motivation. It is exactly why we don't just roll out insulation to eliminate damp, but why we install structurally robust raised boarding and secure loft ladders. We treat your home with the exact same respect and absolute commitment to safety as required in frontline healthcare."

Our Commitment To You
Laser Precision
Near enough is never good enough. I have transitioned from working with exact laser cell treatments in the medical field to utilising state-of-the-art laser levelling lines in your loft. Every joist, board, and thermal barrier is measured and fitted with clinical exactness, ensuring a perfectly level finish and a flawless thermal seal.
Protocol-Driven Outcomes
In an operating theatre, teams rely on rigid checklists because the outcome is critical. Our installations aren't based on guesswork; they are strict, step-by-step engineered processes designed to eliminate damp, pass Part L building regulations, and guarantee maximum thermal efficiency.
Surgical Cleanliness
In healthcare, contamination control is not optional. We treat your property with that identical level of respect and care. We utilise extensive dust sheeting, strict workspace containment, and a meticulous clean-up protocol to ensure your home is left surgically clean once the installation is complete.
Zero-Compromise Health & Safety
"Because of my frontline medical background, our approach to risk prevention is absolute. We bring a strict 'zero-harm' mentality to every installation. From our team members managing on-site hazards and utilising correct PPE, to installing heavy-duty loft access and load-bearing platforms that actively prevent household accidents, your safety is hardwired into our process."
